This book is used, but it is in good/fine shape for its age. The copyright is 1928, therefore this book is considered an antique, and a rare find. Shanty Irish is an autobiography by Jim Tully. On the title page Jim Tully inscribed and signed the following - Best Regards, Jim Tully. This is a first edition SIGNED hardback book, but it is missing its dust cover.
The only notable flaws that I observed are on the inside of the front and back covers where the binding is starting to come apart from the spine (photo in ad), normal wear and tear for its age, no rips or tears of any sort on any pages. There is notable discoloration of the green stamped color of the book in spots. This is a great collectors piece for those who collect rare books.
