Welcome, to our shop Taking Chances. My husband, Jason and I have always had a passion for antiques, barns, family, geography, hand crafted items, and history. From political history items to cultural & social history everything has a story to tell. We pride ourselves in sharing of the story of our items, If I know who, when or where we acquired an item I’ll share the story that goes with it. The foundation of every family begins with their roots, and we must nurture these roots. The barn in our logo is where it all started for us, this barn still stands and has been a part of my husband Jason’s family for over 100 plus years, and thanks to the hard work of his grandparents Ernst “Pa”& Rosemary “MoMo”  the barn along with the farm & acreage remains in the family.
